Background

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology (PIT) has been in operation for over 50 years.  Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to enter the workforce upon graduation or to transfer to a higher education institute.  We offer professional certificate programs, as well as Associates degrees in the areas of:
  • Allied Health
  • Business
  • Engineering
  • Information Technology

You can earn a professional certificate with Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in one year or less, and an Associates degree in two years or less.

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology encourages enrolled students to become actively involved with their families and community through a variety of opportunities.  We believe this helps students become responsible and prepares them to enter the workforce with confidence upon graduation.

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology has two locations, one in Media and the other in Philadelphia.

Class Format


Campus – The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology's faculty members work with students one-on-one with small class sizes.  Coursework is done in a classroom setting with hands-on learning in labs.  PIT offers day and evening classes to fit your busy lifestyle.


Affordability

The inability to afford college should not hinder a student from attending Pennsylvania Institute of Technology.  To this end, we have a number of financial aid programs to help you out.  These opportunities include Federal and State grants, as well as Federal loan programs.  We also have scholarships for students who qualify.  Talk with one of our financial advisors so you can get on track with a rewarding career in no time.

Support

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology offers a wide range of student services, including academic support counseling.  We will help you design coursework that optimizes your career goals.  We also have tutoring programs to help students who need a little extra attention to assure they are getting the most out of their educational experience.

The Student Resource Center at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is an open computer lab where students can have access to a host of resources to help with coursework.  Our library is also full of resources and tools, and is available to all students attending PIT.  You can even order textbooks and other materials at either our physical bookstore on campus, or online, where your materials will be shipped directly to you.

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology job placement services are available for students who are earning their degree.  We help you with resume writing and interviewing skills.  Our job placement percentage is 94% for students who have graduated in our technological programs.
