Background
Javelin Technical Training Center is an established school with a reputation for excellent job placement results with graduates. We want our students to be able to land a job and keep a job upon graduation by giving them the most up-to-date information that will enable them to succeed in the workforce.
Admission Consultants work with students individually to help map out a course of study that matches your interest and goals. Knowing you personally helps Javelin know what coursework and training you need to achieve you career goals in the shortest amount of time possible. There are no requirements for applying to Javelin, include a high school diploma or G.E.D., so you can get started with a new and rewarding career today!
Campus Information
Javelin has three campuses located in Georgia, so your choice of location makes it easier for you to attend college. Each location offers the same programs, so you won’t have to worry about needing to travel extra distances to get the training you desire.
Class Format
Campus – Instructor facilitated classes with a hands-on environment is the most popular method of training offered at Javelin. Instructors are highly skilled in their professions, so you will receive the best training available. You will learn through multimedia presentations, take assessment tests, and gain the practical experience you need to implement your skills in a real-world environment. Classes are small in size to offer individual student attention. Another form of training includes lecture classes whereby the instructor stands at the front of the room discussing theories related to each lesson.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., so you can find a time that is convenient for you. Friday classes are offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Online – Distant learning classes are available for some training programs. These classes are taken in conjunction with in-classroom training, and you are issued a laptop for these purposes. Distant learning classes have 24-hour mentoring available online.
Affordability
Javelin has many options to choose from when considering financial assistance. We offer students the option of Federal financial aid, private student loans, assistance for Veteran's, corporate training and tuition reimbursements, and more. The financial specialists at Javelin can tell you more about your options and help you every step of the way to tailoring a financial aid package that is right for you.
Support
Javelin offers unsurpassed help when it comes to helping students find a job in their chosen field. Our Career Services Department will help you prepare your resume, write an eye catching cover letter, give you job leads, help you schedule interviews, as well as give you interviewing techniques, teach you how to follow up on interviews, and learn networking skills. We also provide help with providing references to prospective employers and how to negotiate with possible employers, as well.

Javelin is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education, and state approved by the Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission.
