Background
Berks Technical Institute (BTI) was originally established in 1974 and evolved to become Berks Technical Institute in 1990. Today we offer 9 Associate Degree programs, 5 Diploma programs and 5 training programs, and we continue to update and expand our course offerings to ensure our students meet the ever-changing demands in the top job markets.Berks Technical Institute's faculty quickly prepares you for a career in some of the fastest growing fields in the Nation.
Our emphasis is on creating a student-centered learning environment where our students can focus their energy and excel in their chosen career training.
Campus Information
Berks Technical Institute is located on an 8-acre campus in the rolling hills of Wyomissing, PA. Modern buildings that house 2 comp labs, 12 pc/networking labs, a drafting lab, a medical lab, a programming lab, an electronics department, 2 massage therapy clinics, and a graphic design studio allow for hands-on training in state-of-art facilities.Berks Technical Institute does not offer on-campus room and board.
Class Format
BTI delivers classes on a Semester calendar. Students can attend either part-time or full-time, and both day and evening classes are offered in most programs; however, it will take a few months longer to complete your training, degree or diploma program when enrolled as a part-time student in evening classes only. You can complete your training or earn your degree or diploma in as little as 27 months at BTI.Average enrollment is 650 students, which ensures that our class sizes are kept at a manageable size.
Affordability
Approximate tuition to attend the Berks Technical Institute is $17,000.- Over $85,000 in Scholarships is offered to graduating high school students.

Admissions Representatives will assist you in finding the program that is best suited to your needs.BTI has a Career Services Center that will provide students with assistance in resume writing, interview skills, career preparation, and job placement. Graduating students are encouraged to participate in job fairs and to utilize the employer database.
Alumni can continue to utilize the Career Services center at BTI.
